When I was going through my struggles with anxiety disorder, one of my biggest issues was that I wanted to rid my body completely of anxiety. I wanted to do this because the way I felt was miserable, but my thought process around anxiety was all wrong. We don’t want to rid our body completely of anxiety; we just want to help our bodies get back to a happy equilibrium.
We need anxiety because it is our body’s very own alarm system. Understanding this little concept immensely helped me, and I recently wrote a guest post for the Anxiety Guru in hopes that it can help others.
